Available in a wide range of sizes from 800mm to 2000mm, the Insert Wood Braai provides flexible options for both intimate braai areas and expansive entertainment spaces. Designed to integrate seamlessly into a prebuilt chimney breast, it delivers a clean, built‑in look while preserving the unmistakable flavor and atmosphere of a traditional wood braai.

The braai is available in 304 stainless-steel as standard, with the option to upgrade to 16 stainless-steel for enhanced corrosion resistance, or a black spray‑painted finish for a bold, contemporary aesthetic. All stainless‑steel units are manufactured using 100% grade 304 or 316 stainless steel only, with no inferior grades used on any component.

A signature feature of the Insert Wood Braai is the large sliding door, which neatly folds underneath the braai to double as a practical work surface. When closed, the door creates a streamlined, luxurious appearance. Optional frames and storage doors are available for the area beneath the braai, along with optional warmer drawers for cooking or keeping food warm while entertaining.

The Insert Wood Braai operates on natural draft and is designed for installation into a prebuilt chimney breast. Where required, an extraction canopy (gather) can be added for flue fitment or motorized extraction. Custom extraction solutions are available through the Signi Fires team to suit your installation and airflow requirements.
