Introducing the Lacunza Itaca 1000 Closed Combustion Insert Fireplace, the most powerful Lacunza model available in South Africa. With a remarkable 17kW nominal output that can reach up to 21kW, the Itaca provides ample heat for most South African homes. Its unique vertical sliding door, operated by a counterweight system, ensures smooth and effortless movement, offering an unobstructed view of the fire through its nearly 1000mm wide glass front. The Itaca comes equipped with a highly efficient convection fan that draws cold air from the room, channels it around the fireplace to heat it, and then recirculates the warm air back into the room. For ease of installation, the fireplace body is mounted on wheels, with adjustable legs that raise the unit into position once it's in place. The Itaca also requires a power supply for the fan and two air vents in the wall, one below and one above the fireplace.
