The Ember Braai features a sleek sliding door that folds away neatly and doubles as a functional work surface—offering a clean, contemporary alternative to traditional multi‑door braais. Multiple sliding warmer drawers allow food to be kept warm while entertaining, and an integrated ash pan ensures easy and efficient cleaning.

Constructed from heavy‑duty mild steel and finished in a durable powder‑coated coating, the Ember Braai is well protected against the elements, making it ideal for both indoor and covered outdoor installations.

Designed to be installed into a prebuilt chimney breast, the Ember Braai operates on natural draft. Where required, an extraction canopy (gather) can be fitted for flue connection or motorized extraction. When opting for a gather, flue pipes must also be installed. Enhance the performance and appearance of your stainless‑steel gas braai with a matching Stainless Steel Extraction Canopy from Signi Fires®. Designed to seamlessly integrate with our gas braai range, these canopies ensure effective smoke extraction while maintaining a clean, contemporary aesthetic.

Two standard canopy designs are available— Angled and Square —each offered in 800mm, 1200mm, and 1600mm sizes. The Angled canopy is ideal for taller braai chefs, allowing closer access to the cooking surface without compromising headroom. The Square canopy offers a sleek, shallow profile and can be recessed into a ceiling or installed between walls for a minimalist, architectural finish.

Each stainless‑steel extraction canopy comes standard with LED downlights, removable grease filters, and a built‑in light switch for convenience. The specially designed grease filter system effectively traps grease inside the filter, which can be easily removed and washed—ensuring simple maintenance and long‑term performance.

For optimal airflow and extraction, we recommend selecting an extraction canopy that is larger than the external dimensions of the gas braai. The canopy is designed for either rear or top extraction, with both installation options clearly illustrated in the technical specifications.
